Eligibility and Registration:
1. Each individual or team must complete, sign and submit the official Clay
Athletic Booster’s tournament registration form.

2. Forms and donations for entry can be submitted to Clay High School Main
Office Attention Clay Athletic Boosters 5665 Seaman Rd. Oregon, OH. 43616
3. Boat check in on Saturday Night or Sunday morning.
4. Payments and forms can be submitted via:

b. Cash day of is late entry fee $60
c. Checks made payable to Clay athletic Boosters (perch tournament in
memo)

5. Each person’s entry donation is nonrefundable.
6. All participants must possess a valid Ohio fishing license.
7. As a condition of participation, each participant must execute a Release of
Liability. The release indemnifies The Clay Boosters Tournament and
Sponsors.
8. A person can fish on their own or as a team, max of 4 people to a boat, and
each entry is based on individual persons basis for entry into weight
tournament.
9. All boats being used in the tournament MUST pass a vessel safety check. This
safety check will be performed at Meinke Marina from 5 to 7am. Visit ODNR
Division of Watercraft at watercraft. ohio.dnr.gov/required equipment for a list
of required equipment.
10. Fishing must take place along Lake Erie.
Format/Scoring
1. Fish will be brought to Alszuch Bait and Tackle shop for weigh in
2. Weigh in procedure are as follows: Each entry is per person (not team) awards
based on a per person (not team)
a. Weigh in begins at 1:15pm. All participants must have checked in by 1 pm
at the weigh in station.
b. Failure to check in on time will lead to disqualification.
c. Each person may weigh up to 30 perch
d. Each fish must:
i. Be male
ii. Be of minimum legal limit
iii. Be free of snags and snag marks
iv. Be caught by means of local and state laws.
v. Appear live in nature (cannot be stiff/or on ice)
e. The individual score will be a combined weight of 30 perch.
f. Any fish altered to enhance the weight will NOT be allowed and WILL
WARRANT DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE TOURNAMENT
PERMANENTLY.
3. Any unsportsmanlike conduct during the tournament or weigh in is prohibited and
subject to disqualification.
4. Prize money’s will be a percentage of total intake minus fee’s for event.
Awards/Weigh In
The awards ceremony will be held at Knitz greenhouse 8865 Arquette Dr. Oregon, OH
43616. (Picnic lunch will be available)
The Award ceremony will have a 50/50 raffle, Food, and drinks (non-alcoholic)
1st prize 15% 2 nd prize 10% 3 rd prize 7.5% $50 largest walleye & sheepshead
Rules and inspection of fish will be enforced by the tournament weigh-in judge.
