Field Trip Code of Conduct
In accordance with the BLPA Handbook and our Classroom Social Contracts, all students are expected to:

2. Follow Required Check-Ins and Travel Times: - Morning Drop-Off: Parents must have students at BLPA by 8:30 AM for sign-in and to board buses. We will depart promptly at 9:00 AM.
(To ensure the safety of our students and timely departures, students will be pre-assigned a bus. No changes will be made.)
- Lunch / Supervised Check-In: Students will be required to check in at pre-determined times (for lunch and afternoon updates) as communicated before our arrival at Elitch Gardens.
- Departure Check-In: Students are to meet by 5:15 PM to board buses.
- Parent Pick-Up: Buses will return to BLPA with an estimated scheduled parent pick-up time of between 6:30 - 7:00 PM.
3. Use Appropriate Behavior: - Behavior should reflect the positive values and expectations of BLPA. Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful actions will not be tolerated.
4. Dress Appropriately:
- Although the BLPA dress code is not required for this trip, students are representatives of BLPA and should dress appropriately. Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear for a full day of activity is strongly encouraged.
5, Bring Essentials Only:
-A packed lunch if not eating at the Pavilion Buffet
- Optional spending money if they wish to purchase snacks, souvenirs, etc. inside the park (at their own expense).
(Please do not send valuables or unnecessary electronics.)
6. Understand the Consequences: - Any violation of these expectations may result in disciplinary action upon return to school and/or removal from the trip, which may require a parent to pick up their student early.
- Students who are removed from the trip due to a conduct violation will be required to wait in a designated area until a parent arrives for pick-up.
This trip is a celebration, and we want every student to enjoy it while representing themselves and BLPA with pride.
