Who? Any 6th and 7th grade band student at Oakview Middle School

All students have a spot. Chaperone spots will be filled on a first-come basis

Deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, October 18, 2019.  Chaperone spots will be filled on a first-come basis. Chaperone deadline is Friday, October 18, 2019.  A wait list is available in the event space opens to chaperone.

What? Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra Educational Concert

Where? Hill Auditorium, Ann Arbor MI

When? Wednesday November 13, 2019 - We will leave Oakview at 8:30 am and return approximately at 2:00 pm.

Why? A2SO is an amazing professional orchestra! Live music is an experience unlike any other!

Cost? $13.00 which covers transportation to and from L.O. and the cost of admission to concert.

No student will be denied the right to participate on a field trip activity due to financial circumstances. Contact your building administrator for information.

Lunch: Students need to bring $10-15 that day for lunch at a food court. You can also choose to bring a brown bag lunch or request a box lunch from our cafeteria (charged to your lunch account) Please inform Ms. Jeris if you need a lunch prepared for you by emailing [email protected] no later than Monday, November 4, 2019.

Dress Code: Your dress must follow the rules of the school dress code. It is recommended that you wear "dressy casual" clothing for this event. Khaki or corduroy pants are great; ladies may wear a skirt or dress if they choose. A tie is not necessary for gentlemen. Look tidy, please. No holes or stains.

Parents: We need 16 parents to help chaperone this event. If you would like to chaperone, you must be on file with the school as a registered volunteer.
