The 154 members of our 7 Dakota High School Choirs are off to a fantastic year!
The
talent and passion of this year’s choirs are thrilling to see! Choir gives
students an amazing sense of teamwork, boosts their self-confidence, and
benefits our community! Through music, students travel the world, explore
culture, and develop an appreciation for text and sound. They work hard to
perfect their material and perform it for family, friends, the community, and
beyond. Every other year, students are given the opportunity to travel to
another city, In Spring of 2014 was Honolulu, Hawaii; Spring of 2016 we were able
to perform in New York, NY; Spring of 2018 we sang in New Orleans, and this
year we plan to sing in New York, NY!
They compete in choral competitions and participate in festivals throughout the year. With their high level of musicianship and commitment to quality, the results are often “superior” rankings and complimentary reviews. The costs of running such a successful and rewarding choral program are very high. While we as directors and choir families generously donate our time to help prepare our students for events, we are seeking sponsorship's to offset some of our expenditures.

Choirs and assist us greatly in continuing to provide a high quality program for
our students. Your donations will help with our choir expenses and help fund
part of our trips to perform throughout the year.
