During March is Reading Month, where Stadium Drive Elementary was "Wild About Reading!", Ms. Cardinal's first grade class wrote persuasive letters to our principal Mr. Murray about raising funds to save endangered species, animals at animal shelters, and our environment. For several weeks we sold ring pops to our school community, with the intent to donate the proceeds to the World Wildlife Organization and the K9 Stray Rescue League. These two organizations are doing incredible work. One is known for saving endangered species around the globe and the other for training rescues to become service dogs for veterans with PTSD.
