The Xenia High School Air Force Junior ROTC (AFJROTC) program is dedicated to developing citizens of character, instilling core values of integrity, service before self, personal accountability, and excellence in all we do.
While core classroom instruction is supported by the school district, many of our cadets' most transformative experiences—from Raider fitness competitions and drill meets to summer leadership encampments and STEM initiatives—depend directly on the generosity of local businesses, alumni, families, and community partners.
Your contribution directly offsets student out-of-pocket costs and equips our teams, ensuring every cadet has access to high-impact leadership and physical fitness opportunities:
Raider Team Competitions & Tactical Gear: Funds travel, entry fees, and safety equipment for our Raider team as they compete in grueling fitness, obstacle course, one-rope bridge, and cross-country events. Supports essential gear like heavy-duty rucksacks, climbing harnesses, carabiners, dynamic ropes, team litters, and hydration packs.
Drill Team & Color Guard Competitions: Covers travel, lodging, competition fees, and specialized uniforms for our drill, saber, and color guard units as they represent Xenia across the region.
Cadet Leadership Courses & Encampments: Covers tuition, lodging, and travel expenses for cadets attending competitive summer leadership camps and aviation academies.
Community Service Initiatives: Provides supplies and logistics for cadet-led service projects serving Xenia and Greene County.
Cadet Recognition & Formal Events: Supports the annual Military Ball, dining-in events, leadership awards, and badging ceremonies that recognize outstanding cadet achievement.
STEM & Flight Orientation: Maintains simulator technology, model rocketry materials, and educational field trips focused on aerospace and technology careers.
Every dollar contributed goes directly to the Cadet Activity Fund to build discipline, physical resilience, and leadership skills in Xenia’s youth. Whether you are an alumnus, a local business owner, or a proud community member, your support keeps our cadet corps marching forward.
