Funds raised from this event will be used to create a memorial scholarship in memory of Mr. Tim Gleason. Gleason was first elected to the Board of Education in 2013, beginning his term in January of 2014. During his 12-year tenure he served as both President and Vice President, acted as liaison between the district and Weathersfield Township, and represented the district with the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA).

"Tim cared deeply about the youth of our community," said Superintendent Damon Dohar. "He devoted countless hours to helping, guiding, and mentoring our students. He quietly ensured many students had necessities such as food and clothing, and he consistently worked to create opportunities for young people to succeed. His impact on our district and community will be felt for years to come, and he will be greatly missed."
