Cosmo Work Permit

A cosmetology work permit allows students to practice the field of cosmetology

before they take the exam. A cosmetology student is eligible to obtain a work

permit as long as they have not previously taken the exam and failed it. After a

student obtains the work permit they can only practice under someone with a

current, valid license. The permit expires on the date of the original scheduled examination. If the exam is rescheduled, the validity of the permit does not change.

The fee for a cosmetology work permit is $15.00
