8th grade students will be headed to the Troy Historical Village to participate in the Civil War Days event.

Pack a sack lunch or have your student order one from the cafeteria by 4/14. Dress for outdoor weather.
Field Trip Description:
Students will experience soldier and civilian life during the American Civil War through costumed interpretation, demonstrations, music, and hands-on activities. Stroll through Village and chat with Union soldiers, musicians, nurses and surgeons, civilians on the home front, and write a messages with pen and ink, and try to make sense of the dots and dashes of Morse code with the help of our Village telegrapher.
