Our 4th grade field trip is coming up! Students will be going to the Western Museum of Mining and Industry.

Due to our grade size, we will be splitting the field trip into two days;

meaning half of 4th grade will go on Monday 4/27

Monday 4/27: Spade & Hardcastle

and the other half will go on Tuesday 4/28. 

 Tuesday 4/28: Blankenberger, Baba & Draker

We will be taking buses and eating lunch there as well. That being said, your student will need to bring a sack lunch/lunchbox with them. Ideally, water bottles will be able to fit in the sack/lunchbox so we avoid the risk of losing them. If for any reason you cannot provide a home lunch, please let your student’s teacher know ASAP so we can let the cafeteria know to prepare one for them that day.

We are allowed two parent chaperones per class, but you will need to drive yourself to the museum separately. If you are interested, please contact your child’s teacher. Please keep in mind we cannot accommodate everyone and that only the chaperones will be allowed to meet us at the museum. Chaperones WILL have to complete a background check through the school AND pay a fee for themselves as well. Please check your student’s backpack for the field trip permission slip!

We ask that you use the online payment platform, rather than cash or check. Permission slips and $ are due NO LATER than Thursday, April 23rd. • Students: $13 • Chaperone: $6 Students will be allowed to wear jeans with a uniform top on their field trip day. We are so excited and cannot wait!
