HOW FAR WOULD YOU
GO?
A Community
Endurance Challenge at Dakota High School
This is not your typical race. It’s a
chance to push yourself, set a new PR, try something different, or simply see
how far you can go. It is a loop-based running event inspired by the
backyard-style format — designed for runners of all experience levels.
Runners would complete a 4.2-mile loop
starting at the top of each hour. Any time remaining after finishing a loop is
yours to rest, refuel, recover, and connect with fellow runners at the stadium
before the next start.
• Start & finish at the Dakota High
School football stadium.
• One 4.2-mile loop per hour
• Begin each loop together, on the hour
• Use remaining time each hour to rest and recover
• Continue looping until you choose to stop or reach the marathon cap (26.2
miles)
• Bathrooms, aid station, and on-site athletic trainer
Run
one loop. Run three. Run a marathon.
You
decide when you’re done.
Registration is $40 for adults and $25 for current high school students, with a deadline of June 1, 2026.
The event will take place at
Dakota High School on June 13, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM, and is open to the
community. Any remaining funds after expenses are covered will be donated
to Dakota High School’s (CLP) to support their Spring
Dance.
