IAM 1st Annual Film Festival

The International Academy of Macomb proudly presents the FIRST Annual IAM Film Festival! This event showcases and celebrates the hard work of IAM film students throughout this past school year. Film festivals are interactive events that include screenings, Q&As with the filmmakers, and discussion panels to show some of the behind-the-scenes magic that IAM students performed to make their films a reality. This event begins with a formal red-carpet event, so attendees are encouraged to dress to impress as there will be photographers and press from our very own Mighty Quill Magazine, Oak News, and other local press outlets. This event also serves as a fundraiser for our film program to promote the growth and longevity of this unique creative opportunity for our students.

The films in this festival have been deemed school appropriate in accordance with general PG-13 standard guidelines used in rating movies. There may be some mature themes/content, but nothing explicit as these films are made by and for high school students. No refunds or exchanges for this event. The start time listed for each day is when the red carpet begins; film screenings will begin 30 minutes into the event. Online ticket sales close 30 minutes before showtime. Additional tickets may be available at the door.
