Aging with intention can be
defined as a concept to help maintain someone’s quality of life by staying
active and engaged as they age by having healthy habits and routines. It’s
about asking important questions. It’s about being preventive in your selfcare.
It will look different for everyone, but the practice of intentional aging
should include the following: Physical activity Socializing Mental health care
and Cognitive work.
The practice of intentional aging can include the
following:
• Physical activity
• Socializing
• Mental health care
• Active participation in the community
• Optimizing cognitive health
