Afton Elementary- Registration for Spring 2025 Running Club with LMYR
We are excited to bring the Lower Makefield Youth Running (LMYR) program to Afton Elementary for the first time! This premier running program, led by Coach Megan Bogan, has been a huge success at Eleanor Roosevelt for the past six years, helping young athletes develop a love for running in a fun and supportive environment. Now, Afton students in grades 2-5 have the opportunity to be part of this incredible experience!
Registration for the Spring 2025 season is now open! Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. No prior running experience is needed—just a willingness to learn and have fun! However, we do ask that all families understand and commit to the practice schedule and race on May 26th before registering.
This is a 10-session program that culminates in a race, giving young runners the chance to test their skills and celebrate their progress. Due to the popularity of this program, we want to ensure that all registered athletes are fully able to participate.
We can't wait to see Afton runners hit the ground running!
Practice Days - Wednesdays PM - Bell until 4:45PMl | 3/19, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28
Race Date - Monday, May 26th at 8am - Yardley Main Street Mile
PAYMENT - $110 - (include race registration, team shirt, programming fees and great coaching!)
Payment can be made by online or a check made out to Pennsbury School District can be sent to Afton Elementary.
