The Dakota High School Walk-A-Thon is a fundraising event to help pay for extra materials and programs to benefit our students by supporting student and staff development.
The Dakota Walk-A-Thon will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd, during Advisory. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Advisory Period on Wednesday, October 30th.
All students will have the opportunity to walk on the track, listen to music, enjoy some time with their classmates, and have a chance to win some awesome prizes. This is a way for us to encourage physical activity and raise funds for our school while giving back to our students, and to avoid the selling of magazines, candy, etc. As part of the Walk-A-Thon, students will have the opportunity to voluntarily participate in inflatable bounce houses and other similar activities as part of the event. Students who choose to participate in such activities acknowledge they are aware of the potential for injury by doing so.
This sales link will close at 11:59 pm On Monday, October 21st.
