You have been given the option to purchase a personalized
parking spot and parking pass for $150.
This is
a private, one-time purchase event - you must enter your student id number as
the access code (when prompted) as indicated in the school email you received. General
parking sales will begin next week. If you prefer a $50 non-painted parking
spot, please wait until you receive an email for that sale.
Click on the map to zoom in. You can drag right, left, up
and down to see each lot and the spots that are available (gray spots are not
available). Students are also advised that selecting a personalized spot in a
corner of any lot brings with it the risk that the spot will be unavailable due
to snow removal during the winter. If a personalized spot becomes inaccessible
due to snow removal, students will need to find a "general admission"
parking spot until their spot becomes accessible
again. Refunds will not be offered to students whose spots are inaccessible
during the winter due to snow removal.
On occasion it’s possible that another student may make a
poor choice and choose to park in a personalized spot for which they have not
paid for. Dakota High School
Administration and Security will do everything possible to prevent such
scenarios from occurring, and will use disciplinary consequences and other
measures to address such situations with students when they do occur (hopefully
rarely). There will be no refunds if a
personalized spot is made unavailable as a result of another student parking in
it.
Select a spot to purchase by clicking on it, then click
confirm button. Once you confirm the spot, it will be checked with a
"check mark." Click the green
continue button and fill in the necessary information to go to check out. You will have 15 minutes to
register your vehicle and pay for your spot. If you do not register and pay for
the spot within 15 minutes the spot becomes available for anyone to purchase.
In addition
to some other basic information, you will need to have the following
information to complete your registration and make a purchase:
Rules: All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Once a spot is purchased, the student may paint their spot or keep the existing paint job. Students must not leave rocks from driveway medians or other objects surrounding their spots to “protect” them while they dry. Students who purchase and paint spots and then leave objects behind that become obstructions may be subject to a $50 fee being assigned to their student financial obligation account. Instructions regarding dates and times for painting will be sent following this sale.
