Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Repertory Theatre is proud to present this year's musical production: The Addams Family. Based on the original characters created by Charles Addams (a native of Westfield, NJ), The Addams Family follows the Addamses, a macabre clan who delight in darkness and care little for the opinions of others.

A comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, The Addams Family features an original story and it's every father's nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met.

While they revel in darkness and despair, the Addamses are a loving family who value honesty, integrity, and truth above all. The Addams Family finds humor in life’s one inevitable truth: death is just around the corner, and it reminds us that we should face it boldly and with laughter!
