Honors English 10 ‘Life of Pi’ Zoo Trip!

After reading Yann Martel’s novel, Life of Pi, students will assess whether or not they feel Pi is a “reliable narrator.” In viewing animal habitats through the lens of ‘freedom vs. confinement’ students will engage in intentional observation and critical thinking. Further, the students will compare their own observations to Pi’s ideology surrounding animals & zoos.

At the zoo, students will engage in a Life of Pi Scavenger Hunt that will hone their critical thinking skills about the topics above!
