CPR/AED:
This two hour course will teach the basics of adult and pediatric Rescue Breathing, CPR and AED use to prepare participants to assist as first responders in a variety of breathing and cardiac emergencies. Participants who successfully complete all course components will receive Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED certification via the American Red Cross. Participants will be expected to practice and demonstrate skills on manikins, working on the floor independently and in teams, and are encouraged to dress comfortably. Consider bringing a towel, blanket or yoga mat for your own use.
When: June 22nd , 4pm - 6pm, Junior High Media Center
Who: 9th-12th Grade, Alumni, and Adult Community Members
Cost: $40
Equipment Needed: Comfortable clothing, writing material, blanket or yoga pad for floor.
Space is limited to the first 24 participants! There will be a second opportunity later in the summer for another CPR/AED course if there is enough interest.
