The camp, run by the Jenison High School coaching staff and players, will teach dribbling, passing, shooting, trapping, attacking, and defending. We will work hard to develop and teach new techniques and skills, all while having a lot of fun!
Groups are divided by grade/age level in order to focus on age-specific development. Groups will be coached by actual high school players and coaches, and instruction will be tailored to the groups’ overall abilities. The three days of camp will feature individual skill work through drills, small-sided scrimmages, and eventually larger-sided games against one another. We will also incorporate fun games and competitions into our daily plans. Our camp will foster a love for the game as well as teach good sportsmanship. All soccer players should wear shin guards. Soccer camp participants should bring their own water and a soccer ball (there will be extra balls and water available if players are unable to bring their own).
