Dear Families: 

As part of the Lake Orion music curriculum, we will soon be learning to play the soprano recorder in music class. Students will need to purchase their own recorder for use at school and at home. All other materials will be provided. If you already have a soprano recorder at home, you do not need to purchase another one. 

We will be ordering a recorder that comes with a storage case and fingering chart. The price is $4.00. (This is the Harmonie two-piece recorder from West Music in your choice of color with case and fingering chart. There will also be PaySchools fees associated with this purchase.)

If purchasing a recorder is a hardship for your family at this time, please send an email to your student's music teacher and a recorder will be provided at no cost.  Again, if you have any questions, please feel free to email your student's music teacher.
