The Junior Class Council of Dakota High School Cordially invites you to a Midnight Rendezvous in Paris on Monday, the 15th of May, two thousand and twenty three at seven o'clock in the evening at the Palazzo Grande 54660 Van Dyke Ave, Shelby Twp, MI 48316

*TICKET & RESERVED SEATING RULES 

• Tickets will be available for purchase starting April 12th-April 26th. 
• ONLY A SENIOR CAN PURCHASE A TICKET. LIMIT 2/PERSON (ONE FOR THEMSELVES AND ONE FOR A GUEST.) Your student ID number is your access code. 
• Guest Forms are required for all non-Dakota students. Guest Forms will be available in the main office and must be signed by your guest's School Administrator and turned in to the main office by April 26th. They can also be downloaded and printed off on the Prom ticket sale website. Guests cannot be over 20 years old (no exceptions).
• ALL GUEST FORMS MUST BE APPROVED BY ADMINISTRATION. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED- ALL SALES ARE FINAL. 
•  YOU MUST SIT WITH YOUR GUEST DURING DINNER AT YOUR TABLE.
• If a student buys 2 tickets at a table but cannot buy tickets next to each other, they may still sit next to each other at the table. (You are purchasing a spot at a table, not an exact seat.)
• Round tables hold a max of 11 people. Square Tables hold a max of 14 people. **NOTE: Tables that are not completely filled may be combined with other tables. Make sure your entire party is selecting the desired table number at the same time to avoid other students that are not in your group booking at that table.

*RULES OF PROM:

• Parent paparazzi and pictures will be from 6:30-7:00 p.m.
• Dinner will be served promptly at 7 p.m. If you are late for dinner you will forfeit your meal or portions of your meal.
• No one will be admitted to prom after 8:30 p.m. Students are expected to stay at prom until 9 p.m., unless prior arrangements have been made. Prom ends at 11:00 p.m.
• You may not leave to go to your car or re-enter prom at any time. This is a school function, therefore, all school rules apply.
• Shoes must be worn at all times. Shirts must be worn under vests at all times

*SCHOOL ATTENDANCE POLICY ON PROM DAY

We are looking forward to the 2023 Senior Prom on May 15! We recognize that hosting Prom on a school day presents challenges for some students in terms of preparation for the evening’s events with regard to arranging for hair and/or makeup appointments, picking up tuxes or suits, etc.  With that said, we also know there are questions regarding school attendance requirements for students in order to attend Prom. Students who have excused absences on Prom day will still be able to attend the event. In anticipation of a high volume of students being excused absent on Prom day, Parents/Guardians who wish to report an excused absence for their student for May 15th, 2023 may use the following form to do so in advance.
