Strap on those boogie shoes and prepare to be immersed in the world of dance! Miss Morton (Mrs. Abbasse’s Student Teacher) is delighted to bring a GAP Dance Club to this wonderful student body. Before she was training to be a teacher, she was a dancer/singer in New York City and performed on a cruise ship. She travelled around the world and picked up some dances and cultural appreciation along the way. This club is not competitive, but a fun way to keep active and dip your toes into the art of dance. Lessons will consist of a brief overview of the style of dance we explore that day, a warmup to prevent injury, and the learning of a dance combination. No shoes will be necessary for purchasing, please NO SANDALS OR SHOES THAT FALL OFF!   (Dance styles will include Ballet, Jazz (Musical Theatre) , Tap, Ballroom, Lyrical, Bollywood, and more!)
