JENISON Water Polo - Beginner

Who:    3rd - 8th Grade

What:    This program is for Jenison Student-Athletes. Water Polo involves swimming, treading water, players passing the ball while being defended by opponents, and scoring by throwing the ball into a net defended by a goalie! Classes are designed for boys and girls in grades 3 through 8 who feel comfortable in the water and are interested in learning the sport of water polo and/or improving their skills. No water polo experience necessary. Flotation devices available if necessary. Swim team experience ideal, but not necessary. Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis as class size is limited. Grab a friend and try this amazing sport! You may do one or two or all three sessions. Each session will build upon the previous session while also repeating important water polo knowledge at each practice.

No refunds three business days prior to the 1st practice each session.

Where:    Jenison High School - Aquatics Center

When:    Session 1: Sept 25, Oct 2, Oct 9 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Session 2: Oct 16, 23, 30 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Session 3: Nov 6, 13, 20 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Attire:    Swim Suit, Goggles optional, Hair tied back if long enough

Cost: $30 per session  When registering use the name of the student who will be participating in the camp.

Optional T-Shirt is $10 and can be purchased at the pool.
