Beginner Percussion is for students who have no experience playing percussion.

Students will learn basics for snare drum and mallet percussion

(xylophone/marimba) playing and how to read basic percussion music notation.

Lessons will meet Monday through Friday from 1:00-1:45pm at Emerson Jr./Sr.

High School, 131 Main Street, Emerson. All students should have materials

required by their school instrumental music teacher at their first lesson. Students

who are also participating in the Summer Theater Program may participate in the

Summer Music Program. We can work it out with Mr. Ullman so that your child is

able to do both.
