This class will explain the process for probating a will and administering an estate.

If you are named as an executor in a will or want to better understand what might

be involved in administering your estate or the estate of a loved one, this class

will provide a step-by-step guide on what is involved and why. Learn answers to

questions, such as: What is a probate asset? How does a probate estate differ from

the taxable estate? How are jointly held assets valued and administered? When do

estate and inheritance tax returns need to be filed? Who should be named as an

executor or trustee?
